Attorney Michael J. Jordan Named Injured Workers’ Advocates President

Jordan, partner and attorney at the Steinberg Law Firm in South Carolina, was recently named President of the Injured Workers’ Advocates (IWA), a nonprofit association. This news comes following the Injured Workers’ Advocates annual convention held in Asheville, North Carolina on November 4, 2021.

Attorney Jordan has been a member of the IWA for 16 years. Prior to his newly announced presidency, he served one year as Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary for IWA. The nominating committee puts forth the slate of officers and the next president is voted on by the entire IWA membership.

Injured Workers’ Advocates is a nonprofit association of attorneys dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of South Carolina workers who are victims of occupational injury or illness. IWA works to advocate for the rights of injured workers through education, litigation, and communication with others about goals and issues important to the protection of workers’ rights.
