This is an organization accredited by the American Bar Association and affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Candidates cannot self-nominate, and they must demonstrate the enhanced level of skill and expertise required for this designation. Attorneys cannot pay a fee to be considered.
The Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc. is an attorney-run affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils in Cleveland, Ohio. It is the only ABA-accredited program for certification of an attorney as an Estate Planning Law Specialist.
