Pork Chop Kills Man

Feb 6, 2013

Southfield, MI (Law Firm Newswire) February 5, 2013 – This is one strange wrongful death case, involving how to cook a pork chop.

“I’ve seen a lot of unusual cases in this line of work,” said Darren Monroe of Litigation Funding Corporation, Michigan, “but this one about topped it. One man was actually killed during an argument over how to cook pork chops.”
Three men were sharing living accommodations and the third man in this story ended up witnessing the shooting. He told police he had no idea what the issue was with the pork chops, but his two roommates, the shooter and the victim, were going at it tooth and nail, when the one man grabbed his .22 caliber rifle and fired. He hit the victim in the head, twice.

When the shooter made his first court appearance, he indicated he and the dead man had a history of having heated arguments, and that he had mentioned out loud one time, that he would shoot him if he came home drunk. The police file does not indicate if the victim did come home drunk or not. It only contains the eyewitnesses’ statement about the pair fighting over how to cook a pork chop.

This second-degree murder criminal case will make its way through the courts. In the meantime, the victim’s family may wish to file a wrongful death lawsuit. They would likely be hard pressed to pay the funeral and burial expenses, and any medical expenses as a result of the incident. “The ideal answer for them to cope with paying their bills while waiting for justice is to apply for a lawsuit loan from a litigation financing company. Lawsuit settlement funding is an emergency loan given to a qualified plaintiff to pay their debts immediately,” explained Monroe.

Plaintiffs that qualify do not require a credit check, do not pay any monthly fees, do not pay any money upfront and are not required to have a job when they apply. When they are approved, the fast cash funding is sent directly to their bank account. The plaintiff may then deal with their bills and decline any offers that an insurance company may make to get them to settle quickly. “Talk to a litigation funding company about your situation. We understand the issues and can answer any questions you may have,” Monroe assured.
