Los Angeles, CA (Law Firm Newswire) May 1, 2012 – The Collaborative Divorce Education Institute is again offering an Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Training for Legal, Mental Health and Financial Professionals June 7-9, 2012 in Pomona, California. This is the Second Annual Three- Day Collaborative Divorce Interdisciplinary Team Training offered by the CDEI.

This training is scheduled for June 7,8 and 9, 2012 at Cal Poly Pomona with CDTT Trainers: George Richardson, Ellie Izzo, Vicki Carpel-Miller and Andrew Hoffman. CDEI is again offering the Advanced Level Interdisciplinary Team Train the Trainer four and a half day program coinciding with this three-day basic/intermediate Collaborative Practice Interdisciplinary Team Training. The Train the Trainer program meets the IACP Training Standards and is an advanced level program for experienced Collaborative Practitioners. This course meets the qualifications for 20 hrs of continuing education credits for MFTs and or LCSWs as required by the CA BBS; Nancy J. Ross, LCSW, is the provider PCE #1197; State Bar of CA and Financial Professionals qualified hours applications pending and number of CE credits subject to approval.

The training includes three days of in-depth “hands on” clinical practice of the meeting structure, how many meetings, how the professionals perform their job during the meetings, how the professionals perform each of the roles and responsibilities, how to structure the meetings, current document evolution, and the current protocols are all included in this training. Participants will learn:

• The Collaborative Divorce Interdisciplinary Team Model of Collaborative Practice
• The new Protocols for Full Team Collaborative Divorce Practice;
• The roles and responsibilities of each Team Member
• The legal, mental health, financial and team ethics involved in Collaborative

Divorce Full Team Practice
• How to enroll clients in a Collaborative Divorce
• How to structure and facilitate the necessary meetings in a Collaborative Divorce
