Brandon Law Firm Expands Popular Free Legal Help Seminar Series

Nov 3, 2011

Brandon, FL (Law Firm Newswire) November 2, 2011 – Brandon bankruptcy attorney Reginald Osenton has announced the expansion of his firm’s popular free bankruptcy seminars to include other issues like foreclosure defense, family law and estate planning.

The new Osenton Law Offices P.A. Seminar Series builds on the reputation of the firm’s bankruptcy seminar series that began in August 2009.

November dates for the series are:

Nov. 7 Bankruptcy
Nov. 14 Estate Planning
Nov. 17 Divorce and Family Law
Nov. 28 Bankruptcy

Osenton hosted the firm’s first foreclosure defense seminar in late October.

“The feedback from the bankruptcy seminars we’ve hosted has been so good, we felt like we should open up the series to include our other practice areas,” Osenton said. “We have helped a lot of people who are trying to figure out what to do in this financial crisis.”

The free evening events are capped at 30 people per seminar, and reservations are strongly recommended. They take place at the firm’s offices at 500 Lithia Pinecrest Road in Brandon, Fla. Walk-ins are permitted, but only after those with reservations have been seated.

“The strength of the bankruptcy seminars is that they have allowed concerned people to remain anonymous while seeking answers that will help them make sound decisions for their families,” Osenton said. “We think there will be a demand for this type of help in our other specialties like estate planning, foreclosure defense and family law.”

The seminars have varied in size so far, but have averaged more than a dozen per event, he said. The Nov. 14 estate planning seminar will have a special emphasis on recently retired county and state workers who used the Deferred Retirement Option Program. A financial planner will be on hand at that seminar to answer questions, Osenton said. Brandon family attorney Joshua Law will host the Nov. 17 seminar on divorce and family law.

“Our firm is dedicated to compassionately helping clients navigate the challenging, financial times they are facing,” Osenton said. “We think this seminar series is a great way to show the Brandon and Tampa communities that we are here to help.”
