New York, New York (Law Firm Newswire) May 27, 2011 – Michael G. Kessler has been named a Finalist in the Executive of the Year – Financial Services category in The 2011 American Business Awards.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
This year’s Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than six-hundred executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The event will benefit Camfed (camfed.org), which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.
More than 2,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year. Michael G. Kessler is nominated in the Executive of the Year category for Financial Services.
Finalist Michael G. Kessler stated, “It is a tremendous honor to be named a finalist for Executive of the Year for Financial Services. I established Kessler International in 1988 and we continue to strive for honesty, integrity, responsibility and trust in our every endeavor. I have made a personal commitment to all of our clients to continue to provide the highest level of service and attention to detail in every case. I would like to wish all of the finalists the best of luck and appreciate being included in such esteemed company.”
2010 saw Kessler conduct several audits of various governmental agencies in locations such as Fort Pierce, FL, Deerfield Beach, FL, and Pompano Beach, FL, demonstrating time and again the importance of transparency in government, and the need for accountability on the part of employees of government agencies. The past year also saw President Michael G. Kessler play a key role in the establishment of The Project For A Better Tomorrow, a 501(c) non-profit corporation with global reach established for the purposes of restoring public trust by demanding higher standards of ethics, accountability and transparency from government officials worldwide, with the resources of Kessler International at its fingertips. One of the first projects undertaken involved a pro-bono investigation of a New York school district which revealed instances of corporations associated with school teachers profiting tremendously from senior class trips.
